We plant trees. A tree for every Business ViBuCard
According to the authors, increasingly intensive forestry and changes in land use as a result of the growing world population are major causes for the fact that the forested areas on earth are currently shrinking by around 192,000 square kilometres per year. Around 15.3 billion trees, i.e. around 0.5 % of the current global tree population, are thus lost every year. Our waste of paper plays a major role in this circumstance, we at ViBuCard try to counteract this by actively protecting the environment.
Worldwide, researchers estimate that the number of trees has declined by around 46% since the end of the Neolithic period and the beginning of agriculture and animal husbandry. For every Business VIBUCARD purchased, you donate a share to the reforestation project.
